Voice-over and voice recording — Warsaw

Voice and voice-over recording studio in Warsaw (Żoliborz): ADR, dubbing, singing and narration in Polish, English, French and Spanish. Neumann TLM 102 booth.

At our voice and voice-over recording studio in Warsaw (Żoliborz) you can record voice-over, ADR (automated dialogue replacement), dubbing, narration and singing. The heart of the studio is a soundproof voice booth with full acoustic treatment and a Neumann TLM 102 microphone — a combination that delivers a clean, deep and natural voice, ready for a commercial, a film, animation or a podcast.

But a recording is more than just gear. We provide actor direction: we help the voice-over artist find the right interpretation, pacing and emotion, so that the voice matches the picture and the intent of the script. A talkback linked to the mix control room, together with an HD screen and a camera for direction, lets us work with the actor in full contact — including when syncing to picture.

We are fluent in Polish, English, French and Spanish, so we accompany artists throughout the whole process, including foreign-language productions. We record voice for demanding clients, including productions for Netflix, Prime Video, BBC and France TV.

What we record

The voice booth works for a wide range of formats — from a spot lasting a few seconds to a multi-hour audiobook. We record:

  • Voice-over — commercials, corporate films, trailers, video content.
  • ADR (automated dialogue replacement) — re-recording dialogue and matching it to the picture.
  • Dubbing — full voice production in a language other than the original.
  • Singing — solo and choral vocal recordings, also as part of a music production.
  • Narration — documentary, nature film, museum, exhibition.
  • Advertising — radio, television and online spots.
  • Audiobook and podcast — long spoken forms with a consistent tone and pace.
  • E-learning — courses, task readings, training materials.

Recording in 4 languages

We record voice in Polish, English, French and Spanish. It is not just a matter of a voice-over artist speaking the given language — what is crucial is direction conducted in that same language, a feel for accent, phrasing and the naturalness of delivery.

This is why we also handle foreign-language and international productions: we coordinate the recording, ensure linguistic accuracy and keep the interpretation consistent across versions. If the material is to be produced in several languages at once, we plan the sessions so as to maintain a shared style and quality across all versions. Experience on productions for Netflix, Prime Video, BBC and France TV has taught us how important repeatable quality and punctuality are when the voice is only one element of a larger post-production.

What ADR is

ADR (Automated Dialogue Replacement) is the re-recording of dialogue lines after the shoot and syncing them to the picture. It is used when:

  • the sound recorded on set is too weak, too noisy or distorted,
  • a line needs to be changed, the diction improved, or a new language version recorded,
  • a scene requires clean studio dialogue without the set background.

Here the actor performs to the picture displayed on an HD screen, while the director guides them over the talkback. We record several takes of each line so that, in the edit, we can choose the version best matched to the on-screen performance. We match the recorded takes to the lip movement, pacing and energy of the original, then edit them so that the new line is indistinguishable from the shoot and blends naturally into the dialogue track. We use this same picture-based method in dubbing, taking care of sync accuracy and the credibility of the character.

What a recording session looks like

We run the process step by step, so that the result is predictable and the work in the studio runs smoothly:

  1. Script and casting preparation — we analyse the text, agree on the reading style and, if needed, choose a voice or organise a casting.
  2. Recording with direction and talkback — the voice-over artist works in the booth while we guide them from the control room, adjusting pacing, accents and emotion.
  3. Several takes and versions — we record variants of interpretation so we have something to choose from in the edit.
  4. Selection and editing — we choose the best takes, clean the recording, assemble a coherent whole and sync to picture.
  5. Delivery — we hand over finished, cleaned files in the agreed formats, matched to further post-production.

Our booth

Recordings are made in a soundproof voice booth with full acoustic treatment, which eliminates reflections and background noise — so the voice is clean and ready for the mix. Equipment in the booth and control room:

  • Neumann TLM 102 microphone — precise, warm and natural on vocals and speech.
  • HD screen and camera for direction — the actor performs to the picture while we keep full eye contact with them.
  • Talkback linked to the mix control room — communication and monitoring of the recording in real time.
  • Pro Tools Ultimate — editing, take selection and preparation of files for release.

Working with the voice-over artist and voice casting

You don’t need to have a voice-over artist chosen to get started. Based on the brief we propose voices that suit the character of the project, prepare samples and run a casting until you find the right tone, vocal age and interpretation. If you already have your voice-over artist — we provide them with comfortable working conditions and professional direction.

During the session we invite you into the control room, where you listen to the recording as it happens and give notes over the talkback. Remote participation is also possible when you work from another location.
